Voima for gyms
Put your gym in every member’s pocket
List your gym in the Voima directory. A new member gets every one of your machines in one tap, and you keep them up to date for everyone.
Free for gyms
Why list your gym
Listing and managing your gym costs nothing. Members find and add gyms with Voima Pro (7 days free to try) and never need an account.
Every machine, instantly
Members add your gym and get all your machines with names, photos, muscles and how-to tips. No scanning, no typing.
Updates for everyone
New machine on the floor? Add it once. Members get a notification and can bring it into their app.
Found by town
Members search a town or tap Near me and see your gym in the results.
Facilities on show
Pool, sauna, recovery, classes, Hyrox-style, 24 hours… People filter by what they want, and your gym page shows it all.
Your PTs on board
Invite your trainers as editors, so the gym stays right even when you’re busy.
No cost
Publishing, managing and updating your gym is free.
How to publish your gym
It takes about 15 minutes with your phone in the gym. You need the Voima app on an iPhone and an Apple ID. Owners, managers and PTs of a real gym can publish.
- Open Gyms I manage. Settings → Community → Gyms I manage, then Publish a new gym. You can also tap Publish this gym in Gym → Your gyms.
- Sign in with Apple. Only gym staff sign in, so only real staff can change a gym. Voima asks Apple for no name and no email.
- Start from one of your gyms. Pick the gym you’ve set up in the app (or Voima Gym, then change it). Voima makes a separate master copy for the directory; your own sets and history aren’t changed.
- Details. Gym name, town, country, and optionally your location (so Near me finds you) and a square logo.
- Facilities & info. About the gym, facilities, classes, opening hours, website and phone. The more you fill in, the more searches you appear in.
- Machines. Check the list: add, remove and fix machines.
- Publish gym. Agree to the community rules the first time. A person at Voima checks every new gym, usually within 24 hours.
Manage your gym
Manage gym is your gym’s master copy: the one every member gets. Open it from Settings → Community → Gyms I manage.
Choose from the Voima library
The quickest way: common machines plus free weights, bars, benches and stations, with drawings, muscles, tips and exercises. Then rename them to match your signs.
Scan with AI
Photograph a machine, its brand sign or the QR code on the sign, and Voima fills in the name, muscles, Push/Pull/Legs and tips for you to check. This uses your own Voima Pro AI allowance.
Add by hand
Type the name, brand, model and station number, pick the muscles, choose a drawing and write how-to steps.
Photos
Show your actual kit, or keep the Voima drawing. Photos are made small and location data is removed before upload.
Publish update
Voima sums up your changes (“2 added · 1 changed”). Most updates go live straight away and members are told.
Your team
Invite managers and PTs as editors with a one-time code. Hand the gym over with Make owner when someone leaves.
What goes live, and what waits for review
To keep the directory safe, a few kinds of change are checked by a person at Voima first, usually within 24 hours.
Live straight away
- Adding machines and changing their details, tips and photos
- Removing a few machines
- Facilities, classes and opening hours
- Phone number and reordering
Waits for review
- A brand-new gym
- Renaming the gym or moving it to another town
- Removing many machines at once
- A new logo or website address
✓ Official status
The ✓ Official badge tells members the listing is run by the gym itself. Once your gym is live, email support@voima.co.uk from your gym’s email address (or with a link to your website showing it), with the gym name and town as they appear in Voima.
Not ready for the directory?
Any gym in Voima can be sent as a file by AirDrop, Messages, WhatsApp or Mail (Gym → Your gyms → Share this gym). No sets, weights or history are shared. A shared file doesn’t get updates, so the directory is the better choice for a whole gym.
Guidelines
Please do
- List a real gym that you own, manage or work at
- Use the gym’s real name, town and logo
- Name machines like the signs on them and keep the list up to date
- Write clear, safe how-to steps
- Use your own photos of your equipment
Please don’t
- Add ads, offers, prices or promotions
- Put links, phone numbers or emails in descriptions or machine text
- Upload photos of people, or images you don’t have the rights to
- List a gym you have nothing to do with
- Post anything abusive, sexual or unsafe
We store the gym’s details, machines, small photos and logo, and which Apple sign-in edits it. Never anyone’s sets, weights or history.
